was hoping to show today a resurrection of sorts. some new parts on an sleeping steed. however in my vision to go cheap that is not happening.

this just goes to reiterate my old philosophy when putting together a bike. there are some corners that should not be cut. and this is specifically in regards to headsets. i thought i would try and save some money. cut some costs. but these costs should not be cut when dealing with headsets.

i go and try and put some final adjustments on the headset, and all the bearings go flopping out all over the freaking floor. and i'm already pissed, so screw it. i'll just put on a real headset, like i should have done in the first place, and set it up right.

do it right, the first time, with quality...is the lesson of the day.
