new project...

a classic trek one thousand that i picked up at the shop i'm wrenching at. it had old suntour components on it; which just wore out, and the customer didn't want to 'up-grade' the bike...so the bike became a 'donation.'

i'll eventually find new components. it had a seven freewheel on the back, hopefully i'll be able to find something worth replacing it with so i don't have to pick up a whole new wheel set. i think the crankset will go, and do a whole new drivetrain. put on a flat bar. i believe the headset to be fine. so that is a good thing.

just something fun to tool around on, even so my wife is able to ride it. fun ahead.

started walking up the simplest hills.

the 'fun' factor died at mile eighteen.

not worth it.
